In March 2010, Kyocera introduced the monochrome Ecosys FS-1120 printer, with an OEM-rated print speed of up to 32 letter-size pages per minute (ppm) and a monthly duty cycle of 25,000 pages per month.
The FS-1120 ships with a 1,000 page yield starter toner cartridge. Replacement cartridges are available in a 2,500 page yield version only. Cartridge SKUs vary depending upon the market region in which they are sold, and all cartridges require a chip for the printer to function correctly.
